    1/2 c cornstarch
    oil for frying

Instructions

    Add soy sauce and the 2 tbsp cornstarch on your bird in a bowl and disguise with plastic wrap.
    Let marinate for 30 minutes.
    While the bird is marinating upload the lemon juice, sugar, water, 2 tsp cornstarch and lemon zest to a small bowl and mix; set aside.
    Add the flour and 1/2 c cornstarch to the bowl of bird and toss to coat.
    In a pot with oil about three inches deep, warmth on medium excessive to 350 degrees.
    Add the bird in batches so that you do not crowd the pot or the bird will stick collectively and it'll decrease the temperature greatly causing your bird to be oily.
    Cook bird till golden brown and while cooked, move the items to a skillet (this is the place we may be tossing with the sauce).
